New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant made an eventful start at SCA stadium in Rajkot as India won the toss and chose to bowl first against Bangladesh on Thursday. Initially, the youngster made a blunder as he collected the ball in the front of the stumps on the third delivery off sixth over by Yuzvendra Chahal. But, Pant made up for the mistake as he  dismissed Das by getting run him run out after the latter ran off an lbw appeal off Chahal in the eighth over trying to convince the umpire that he is not out.

Pant looked brilliant behind the stumps as he completed another dismissal by getting Soumya Sarkar Stumped out. The latter was looking to change gears after scoring 30 runs.

In the previous match, Rishabh was trolled badly for his poor DRS call and throwing away his wicket after getting well set to finish off the innings. 

On Thursday, India restricted Bangladesh at 153/6 in 20 overs after winning the toss and opting to bat first. The visitors had a good start as Liton Das (29) and Mohammad Naim (36) added 60 runs for the first wicket. Soumya Sarkar and skipper Mahmadullah also scored 30 runs each. For India, Shivam Dube was the pick of the bowlers, he scalped two wickets. 

In reply, India reached the target with ease as they won the match by eight wickets with 26 balls to spare. Captain Rohit Sharma led from the front and scored 85 runs off 43 balls that included six fours and an equal number of sixes. His opening partner Shikhar Dhawan added 31 runs as the duo completed their 100 partnership for the fourth time in T20Is. Shreyas Iyer (24 off 13 balls) provided late blitz to finish off the game. For Bangladesh, Aminul Islam picked two wickets for 29 runs.
