India vs Bangladesh, 2nd T20I: 'Khilana Jaruri Hai Kya': Twitter trolls Khaleel Ahmed after poor opening spell
New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Twitter users on Thursday trolled Indian pacer, Khaleel Ahmed, as he was punished by Bangladesh opening batsman Mohammad Naim for three consecutive fours in his opening spell. The 21-year-old gave away 14 runs in his opening over and followed it with 10 runs in the next over as Bangladesh started well scoring 41 runs without loss after five overs. Later, Khaleel ended with figures of 44/1 in his quota of four overs. Slamming him on Twiiter, a user shared a meme," Yeh Khaleel Ahmed Ko Khilana Jaruri Hai Kya."
"Aate Hi Kaam Suru Kar Diye," another user shared.
In the previous match, Khaleel had given away 37 runs in his four overs that India lost by three wickets. The second T20I between India and Bangladesh was played at SCA Stadium, Rajkot on Thursday.
Opting to bowl first, Team India restricted Bangladesh for a score a 153/6 in 20 overs. Shivam Dube scalped two wickets while Deepak Chahar, Ahmed and Washington Sundar shared one wicket each.
In reply, India won the match by eight wickets with 4.2 overs to spare as skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front and scored 85 runs. For Bangladesh Aminul Islam was the pick of the bowler, he ended up with 29/2 in his quota of four overs. The next match (decider) will be played at Nagpur on Sunday.
