New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Bangladesh all-rounder Afif Hossain on Sunday took a blinder to remove Shivam Dube in the first T20I held at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The 20-year-made a perfect jump to remove the debutante Dube for just one run off his delivery in the last bowl of the 16th over.

The wicket came at an important occasion for Bangladesh as India were left with 102 for five wickets in 16 overs. Team India failed to get a top start as skipper Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were dismissed early while wickets kept falling at regular intervals as local boys Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant departed after scoring in 20s. Krunal Pandya and Washington Sundar's late blitz helped Team India reach a score of 148 runs off six wickets in their 20 overs. Bangladesh now requires 149 runs to win their first T20I against India in their backyard.

Taking about Afif, the player was only featuring in his sixth T20I for Bangladesh but bowled really well giving away just 11 runs in his three overs and scalped a wicket. As a youngster, Afif's agile was really remarkable. He rose to fame in 2016 when he became the youngest player to pick a T20 fifer on debut for Rajshahi King and won Man of the Match in BPL. The 17-year-old had picked the key of Chris Gayle and finished with figures of 5/21.
