This will be a opportunity for the state to showcase their potential after the government revoked Article 370 which gives special rights to Jammu and Kashmir.
In his address to the nation after revoking Article 370, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would now have massive opportunities to enjoy peace and prosperity.
Earlier, Ajit Panda, founder at Spaciya Advisors had also said that the abolition of article 370 and 35A would certainly open the flood gates for investment into real estate, hospitality and tourism in the Valley.
"Abolition of article 370 and 35A would certainly open the flood gates for investment into real estate, hospitality and tourism in Jammu and Kashmir. It has its own attraction quotient and will drive people who are looking at second homes. We have already seen heavy demand for second homes in scenic places. The real estate prices in Jammu and Kashmir is one of the lowest in the country. However, investors will hold their breath for the dust to settle and watch course before putting in money. It is a highly sensitive region and it will take some time to clear up the sentiments," he said.
