New Delhi| Auto Desk| The TVS motors has launched the Ntorq 125 in India, which faces a direct challenge from Honda Activa 125. Honda Activa 125 is a best-selling scooter in India. The design has been designed by keeping in mind about the youngsters. Today, we will try to find out which one is better in terms of performance and style.

Engine:

  • TVS Ntorq 125 has 4 strokes, single cylinder, air-cooled, OHC Engine for power. It generates 9.4PS maximum power at 7500 RPM and generates 10.5Nm peak torque at 5500 RPM.
  • Honda Activa 125 has 124.9CC, fan cooled 4 strokes, SI engine for power. It generates 8.52 bhp maximum power at 6500 RPM and generates 10.54Nm peak torque at 5000 RPM. The engine is less with V-Matic transmission.

Suspension:

  • TVS Ntorq 125 has telescopic suspension at the front and has gas field hydraulic type spring shock absorber at the rear.
  • Honda Activa 125 has telescopic suspension at the front and has spring loaded hydraulic type at the rear.

Brake:

  • TVS Ntorq 125 220mm disk brake at the front and 130mm drum brake at the rear.
  • Honda Activa 125 has 130/190mm disk brake at the front and 130mm drum brake at the rear. It has the CBS feature at the rear.

Price:

  • TVS Ntorq 125 drum brake variant has a price of ₹58,252 at a showroom in Delhi which is ₹1648 costlier than the front disk brake version.
  • Honda Activa 125 drum brake variant has a price of ₹60,347 at a showroom in Delhi, while the drum oil brake version has a price of ₹62,284. The disk brake version has a price of ₹64,733.

Dimension:

  • TVS Ntorq 125 has a length of 1865mm, width 710mm and a height of 1160mm. The wheelbase is of 1285mm and ground clearance is of 155mm.
  • Honda Activa 125 has a length of 1814mm, width 704mm and a height of 1151mm. The wheelbase is of 1260mm and ground clearance is of 155mm. The seat has a height of 765mm.
