New Delhi | Jagran Auto Desk: In its bid to clear the high inventory following the major slowdown faced by the auto sector, Maruti Suzuki has launched attractive discounts and benefits on a range of products including the premium Nexa range.

Maruti Ignis: The smallest and most affordable Nexa car, Ignis recently achieved the sales milestone of 1 lakh units. Launched in February 2017, Ignis has registered average sales of around 3,850 units per month. Ignis is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 30k and exchange benefits worth Rs 20k.

Maruti Baleno: Once a best-seller, Baleno sales have been declining in recent months. Baleno BS-VI petrol is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 15k and exchange benefits worth Rs 15k. As for Baleno diesel variant (BS-IV), customers can get it with Rs 20k cash discount, exchange benefits worth Rs 15k and warranty of 5 years. Baleno was the first Maruti car to get BS-VI compliant petrol engine, but it’s not certain if BS-VI option will be provided for the diesel variant.

Maruti Ciaz: This has consistently ranked among the best-selling sedans in the country. In July, Ciaz was at number one position, ahead of Honda City and Hyundai Verna. Ciaz petrol variant is currently available with a cash discount of Rs 25k and exchange benefits worth Rs 30k. These offers are also available with Ciaz DDiS 225 diesel variant. Customers get an additional 5 years warranty on Ciaz DDiS 225 diesel.

S-Cross: This is among the Maruti cars that have been hit hard by the slowdown in the auto sector. In July, S-cross sales dipped -87.68%, down from 5,308 units in July 2018 to just 654 units in July 2019. S-Cross is being offered with an attractive cash discount of Rs 50k, exchanged benefits worth Rs 30k and 5 years warranty.

Maruti Suzuki is also offering a heavy discount on its own dealership cars.

Maruti Celerio: With a 4-cylinder engine of 998 CC, the car gives a mileage of 23.10 km per liter petrol. Currently, the company is offering discounts up to 65 thousand rupees on the purchase of Celerio. This discount includes a consumer offer of 40 thousand rupees, an exchange offer of 20 thousand rupees and a corporate offer of 5 thousand rupees. This offer is for a limited time so it can be availed only before 30th September.
