Mahindra XUV300 vs Hyundai Creta: Price, features and specifications comparison

Engine and power
Mahindra XUV300 comes in two engine options. Its petrol variant has a 1.2 litre turbo engine that generates power of 110 BHP at 5000 Rpm and 200Nm torque at 3500 Rpm. It is equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox transmission. Its diesel variant has a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine that generates power of 128Ps at 4,000 Rpm and torque of 26.5kg.m at 1500-3000 Rpm. The diesel engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed Amt transmission.
Hyundai Creta also comes in two engine options. Its petrol variant has a 1,591cc 4-cylinder Dual VTVT petrol engine that generates power of 123 PS at 6,400 Rpm and 15.4 kg.m torque at 4,850 Rpm.
Its diesel variant has a 1.6-liter CRDi diesel engine that generates power of 115 Ps at 3750 Rpm and 300Nm torque at 2500 Rpm. Both petrol and diesel engines are equipped with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
In terms of dimensions, the Mahindra XUV300 has a length of 3995 mm, width 1821 mm, height 1627 mm and wheelbase 2600 mm. Talking about the fuel tank, this SUV has a fuel tank with a capacity of 42 liters.
Hyundai Creta, on the other hand, has length of 4,270 mm, width 1,780 mm, height 1,665 mm and wheelbase 2,590 mm. Talking about the fuel tank, this SUV has a fuel tank with a capacity of 42 liters.
Mahindra XUV300 has six-disc brakes, front parking sensor, heated ORVMS, electronic stability program, rollover mitigation, hill start assist, front fog lamps, rear fog lamps, ISOFIX child seat mounts, tire tronics and all safety features like seatbelt reminder and 3 point seat belts for all seats.
Hyundai Creta has six airbags, anti-lock braking system, EBD, vehicle stability control, hill start assist, rear parking assist system, electronic stability control, electrochromic mirror, height-adjustable seat belt anchor and Features like power window anti pitch are provided.
The initial ex-showroom price of the Mahindra XUV300 petrol variant is Rs. 8,10,000 and its diesel variant costs Rs 8,69,000.
The ex-showroom price of Hyundai Creta's starts at Rs 999,990.
