New Delhi | Jagran Auto Desk: India's second-largest car manufacturer Hyundai launched its brand new car Grand i10 Nios in the country on Tuesday. The car is offered in ten variants, seven in petrol and three in diesel engines. The new car will co-exist with Grand i10.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes with a redesigned interior cabin and completely new exterior design with two boomerang LED daytime running lamps. It has an 8-inch touchscreen which includes an infotainment system with Bluetooth, voice recognition, apple carplay, android auto, sound system on the top-end variants. Among others, it includes a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control and rear AC vents.

The car also comes with an upgraded AMT automatic transmission in both diesel and petrol engines. It has a 1.2-liter engine, 83 ps and 11.6 Kgm torque for petrol engine while it generates 75 ps and 19.4 Kgm torque for its diesel engine.The petrol engine will give a mileage of 20.7 kmpl for manual transmission and AMT. The diesel version will provide a mileage of 26.2 kmpl.

The company will provide several warranty options in terms of years (3 to 5 years) and kilometers (40,000 to 100,000 kms) along with road-side assistance. 


Starting price of the car is Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 6.7 lakh for petrol and diesel engines respectively. The High-end variant cost of these cars are Rs 7.14 lakh and Rs 7.99 lakh. Variants include Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta and Dual Tone Sportz.
