New Delhi | Jagran Auto Desk: Mahindra & Mahindra on Wednesday unveiled electric vehicles e-XUV an e-KUV and e-XUV at the country's 15th Auto Expo to address a larger good that touches and transforms lives through innovative, future-ready products and mobility solutions.
The eKUV provides benefits of driving an SUV combined with unique advantages of an electric vehicle. The eKUV100 is ideally suited for daily city commutes to schools, offices, malls, etc. The vehicle offers a peak power output of 40kW, torque of 120 Nm and a range of 147 kms, ensuring that daily commutes with ease. Fast charging can extend the range by 80 per cent within 60 minutes.
Its silent drive, coupled with an Automatic Transmission, offers a relaxing, fatigue-free driving experience in chaotic city traffic. In addition to smartphone connectivity, onboard computers will allow for remote diagnostics, cabin precooling, remote door lock/unlock, location tracking, monitoring your driving pattern & updates on the battery status as well.
eXUV300’, is an aspirational electric SUV which is the perfect mobility solution for the environmentally-conscious customer and the ideal vehicle for those who desire thrilling performance. The vehicle is powered by a powerful motor that gives you instant acceleration and at the same time the refinement and quiet drive of an EV.
The large battery capacity ensures a long-range that prevents any range anxiety. The eXUV300 has a new futuristic design with new features, smart and premium interiors with blue highlights to accentuate the new character of this SUV. Most importantly, the eXUV300 has been built on a platform that has a 5-star safety rating from GNCAP.
Apart from eKUV and eXUV, M&M also shared other electric vehicles Funster and ATOM. While funster, a thrilling roadster electric concept with a playful convertible mode, nothing short of being an object of desire, ATOM is a new age electric urban mobility solution for Smart India’s last-mile connectivity needs.
The company also showcased 2 variants of the Treo, the pioneering Lithium-ion battery electric 3-wheeler.
Mahindra has also displayed mStallion, its range of advanced BSVI ready turbo gasoline direct injection, TGDi engines which will deliver a great ‘fun to drive’ experience to its customers.
