New Delhi | Jagran Auto Desk: Asia’s biggest automobile exhibition, the ‘Auto Expo 2020’ have started from today and will continue to treat the auto industry fans till February 12. This year, the Auto Expo 2020 is organised at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Car manufacturing giants like Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, MG Motors, Renault, Skoda, SML Isuzu and Volkswagen will be showcasing their new and updated cars along with the future concepts cars.

Indian car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki will be presenting a number of new and updated cars in this year’s Auto Expo 2020. Maruti has announced that it will display a total of 17 vehicles at the Auto Expo 2020. Under the Maruti pavilion, you will see the concept of electric vehicle Futuro-e. In addition, the company will launch upgraded versions of its most popular compact SUV Brezza, hatchback Ignis and S Cross.  

Among other attractions, the Maruti Suzuki pavilion, today, showcases Suzuki’s strong Hybrid technology on Swift. The latest Swift Hybrid demonstrates Suzuki’s expertise in Hybrid technology, which can substantially bring down emission and increase fuel efficiency without the need of setting up any additional infrastructure and eco-system.

High on efficiency and low on emissions, with the capability of pure electric drive, the new Swift equipped with strong hybrid system offers superior driving performance and acceleration.

The strong hybrid system adopts Suzuki’s unique parallel hybrid system with advanced Li-ion battery technology. The new technology from Suzuki promises to perform various functions of idle stop-start, torque assist, regenerative braking and EV running as a combination, to achieve higher fuel efficiency.

Suzuki Swift Strong Hybrid is presently available in the Japan market. Maruti Suzuki intends to introduce vehicles with enhanced strong hybrid technology based on the similar architecture in India which will further reduce the emissions and increase fuel efficiency.
