New Delhi | Jagran Auto Desk: The Maruti Suzuki on Wednesday showcased its upcoming car CONCEPT FUTURO-E in the Auto Expo 2020 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. The car features flexible swivel travel seats and console which give occupants an unparalleled comfort and freedom to engage freely with infotainment features. The company also unveiled the new model of Swift and Spresso at the Auto Expo 2020.

“CONCEPT FUTURO-E is a design study. It presents possibilities of a new global design language for the SUV segment. The segment has recently seen a tremendous surge in popularity. A coupé styled SUV is a first from Maruti Suzuki stable and we are confident customers will like it,” Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said.

According to the company, Concept FUTURO-e is future-ready with a wide array of powertrain options like hybrid and pure EV and has features like flexible swivel travel seats, wide HMI (Human Machine Interface), layered secondary screens and techno finished materials.

The company also showcased Suzuki’s strong Hybrid technology on Swift. The latest Swift Hybrid demonstrates Suzuki’s expertise in Hybrid technology, which can substantially bring down emission and increase fuel efficiency without the need of setting up any additional infrastructure and eco-system.

The company also unveiled S.Presso. It was launched at the start of Q3 2019 and since then it has quickly gone on to become one of the top-selling products in the Indian market.

The Auto Expo 2020 is the Asia’s biggest automobile exhibition and is underway at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. Apart from Maruti Suzuki, other car manufacturing giants Kia, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, MG Motors, Renault, Skoda, SML Isuzu and Volkswagen also showcased their new and updated cars along with the future concepts cars.
